Quick Update
Our Arctic adventure has taken an exciting turn in the last few hours, evolving into a true expedition. The team is in high spirits, with lots of fun and camaraderie to keep us going.
Where We Are
Since Friday, our ship has been surrounded by ice, and we've anchored at a safe, ice-free spot in Nordaustlandet, just south of Phipps Island. This remote location in the Arctic is as breathtaking as it is challenging.
Monitoring the Ice
We are constantly monitoring the ice ahead of us with the help of our six drones [all thanks to Kevin, our drone expert]. The technology allows us to stay ahead of the situation and adapt as needed.
A Journey Back in Time
This experience gives us a glimpse into what it must have felt like 250 years ago to navigate these northern waters. The sense of adventure and discovery is palpable.
